With the Z-Box Alexa Skill Device management, you can easily add or remove devices after your initial set-up. 

Follow the simple steps below to learn more about managing your devices.

 

Discovering New or Missing Devices:

 

1. From the Amazon Alexa app, tap the Devices menu.

 

 

2. Click '+' in the upper right-hand corner.

 

 

3. Click on Add Device. 

 

 

4. One the Setup page, scroll down the device list and click on Other.

 

 

5. Click Discover Devices. This may take up to 45 seconds.

 

 

6. Once Alexa discovers the devices, you will have to set up each device individually. Click Next to proceed with the device set-up.

 

 

7. Choose which connected device you would like to set up first and click on Set Up Device. Just like during the initial setup, you can group the devices based on the location within your house. To group the devices, select the room and click Add to Group. Adding your device to a group allows you to control whole groups by saying something like, " Alexa, turn on the Garage." Continue the process for each device. If you don't want to assign a device to the group, click Skip.

 

 

Now you are ready to control your devices from the Alexa App!

 

 

Deleting Devices from the Alexa App: 

 

1. From the Amazon Alexa app, tap the Devices menu.

 

 

2. Click on View (if available) to see the list of all discovered devices; or, you can click on the Device category to navigate to an individual device setting page.

 

 

3. Click on the device that you are trying to remove from the Alexa App.

 

 

4. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner to navigate to the Settings page.

 

 

5. Click on the trash can icon in the upper right corner to delete the device. Confirm the removal of the device from the Alexa app. Your device will be removed.
