The Z-Box Hub mobile app allows you to choose your favorite device categories, rooms, and scenes and manage them from a single dashboard. You can choose the order devices are displayed in either manually or automatically via Smart Suggestions. Smart Suggestions will choose the devices that you use most often and set them up accordingly; this will result in your dashboard changing as time goes by and the hub recognizes your habits.
Note: If you want to have full control of what is displayed on the dashboard you will have to turn off Smart Suggestions.
How to manage the Favorites screen:
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.
2. Click on the category tile to access specific categories (e.g. Home summary, Scenes).
3. Clinic on the category name under Favorites visibility.
4. Switch the toggle to the OFF position to hide the category from the Favorite menu. Navigating back will save the changes and hidden categories won’t be displayed on the dashboard.
Note: To re-add the hidden category to the Favorites menu, please switch the toggle back on.
How to change the number of devices displayed for each category on the Favorites screen:
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.
2. Click on the category tile to access specific categories (e.g. Home summary, Scenes).
3. Click on Visible rows count under Favorites visibility.
4. Click ‘+’ to increase the number of rows per category and ‘-’ to decrease.
5. Navigating back will save the changes and all the items from the edited category will be displayed accordingly.
How to reorder the categories displayed on the Favorites screen:
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.
2. Hold the title of a category you want to reorder and then drag and drop it to the desired position. Navigating back will save the changes.
Note: Home summary cannot be reordered. It can only be hidden.
How to set your Favorites manually:
In order to set the favorites manually, you will have to turn off the Smart Suggestions. Smart Suggestions are managed on the category level so if you want to turn them off for all categories you will have to repeat this step for each category.
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.
2. Click on the category tile to access specific categories (e.g. Home summary, Scenes).
3. Click on Smart Suggestions under Sorting and switch the toggle to OFF position.
Smart Suggestions will also be turned off if you reorder devices or hide devices from the device list. Scroll down for instructions.
How to reorder devices within a category displayed on the Favorites screen:
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.
2. Click on the category tile to access specific categories (e.g. Home summary, Scenes).
3. Hold the title of a device you want to reorder and then drag and drop it to the desired position. If the Smart Suggestions were set to on you will be warned that this action will turn Smart Suggestions off. Click OK to proceed or Cancel to disregard the changes.
How to hide devices from the Favorites screen:
1. Click the Favorites Menu in the top right corner of the Dashboard to navigate to Edit Favorites.

3. Click on the Star next to device that you want to hide from your favorites.
If the Smart Suggestions were set to on you will be warned that this action will turn Smart Suggestions off. Click OK to proceed or Cancel to disregard the changes.
